This panorama is a composite of five images from a research camera positioned
on the north rim of Moku‘āweoweo, the summit caldera of Mauna Loa volcano. The
images update every 10 minutes. At times, clouds may obscure visibility. The
camera is subject to sporadic breakdown, and its remote location makes immediate
repair impossible.
